About the Founders & Their Passion for Workforce Development

Co-Founder & Chief Ethics & Strategy Officer Parker Aerts’ journey into the staffing industry was compelled by a desire for change and making a difference. “We have the ability to touch so many people and impact their lives,” he explains. He sought to create an organization that values partnership and appreciates how Infinity Staffing is able to bring people together.

For Co-Founder & Chief People & Impact Officer Ira Williams, what keeps him motivated is the ability to help people and provide opportunities for the underserved. He recalled a time when he ran into a man he had previously placed in a job, who expressed how thankful he was for the opportunity, saying jobs like that rarely reach the inner city. Williams is committed to bridging that gap. “There’s so much talent in the inner city, but many never hear about job openings—or by the time they do, they’re already filled,” he explained. While connecting with employers has become more challenging, especially in the post-COVID era, Williams remains focused on breaking down those barriers.

Muskegon County & West Michigan: Business, Community, and Opportunity

For many in Muskegon County, doing business here isn’t just about location, it’s about being part of a community that’s always pushing forward. That’s what Aerts enjoys the most about working here: the relationships you build.

Aerts explains how for those who live and work in Muskegon County, success isn’t about looking elsewhere, it’s about building something great right here. That mindset defines Muskegon County’s spirit. It’s a place where businesses and leaders refuse to settle, always striving for more. “I don’t have to go to Grand Rapids, Detroit, Chicago, New York, to do the great things to impact the lives of so many—we can do that right here in West Michigan, right here on the lakeshore.”

Networking in Muskegon County is more than just business; it’s about creating access and expanding opportunities. Williams explains, “I think that networking here tears down the racial walls”. By being in the right rooms and having open conversations, connections are built and perspectives shift. That openness is what sets Muskegon County apart.

Investing in Economic Development & GMED

Infinity Staffing values collaboration and inclusive growth, which is exactly what economic development in Muskegon County promotes. Williams, a Muskegon Heights native, is committed to ensuring that economic opportunities reach every corner of the community. “How can I ensure that these resources, these programs, these initiatives, are reaching Muskegon Heights?” he asks. Recently, he has seen more conversations and development plans focused on the Heights. To Infinity Staffing, that commitment to inclusion is what true economic development is all about.

Their investment with Greater Muskegon Economic Development (GMED) allows them to be involved and build relationships within the community. “The collaboration that happens here in Muskegon County, from an economic development standpoint, is exactly the thing that we need,” Aerts says. But Infinity Staffing knows that economic development isn’t just about investment, it’s about engagement, and GMED offers that — the ability to create real impact from showing up, building relationships, and seizing opportunities.

Infinity Staffing is proud to be a certified Diverse Business Enterprise (DBE). This recognition reflects their ongoing commitment to equity, inclusion, and creating meaningful opportunities for underrepresented communities. As a minority-owned business, they are not only building strong teams — they are creating a stronger, more inclusive future across West Michigan.
